Arizona Trip '03 -2-

On the top are two more pictures of Broadbill hummingbirds at Kartchner. The bottom two pictures are hummer girls who posed so nicely at the Tucson Botanical Gadrens' hummingbird enclosure. The hummingbird enclosure was very neat, although some of the newest birds are shy many of them are quite used to being around people and will let you get very close to them. On a previous trip here Gram was wearing a flowered shirt and one curious bird came up to investigate her flowers. He was a bit disappointed that the printed flowers had no nectar to drink, but Gram was very pleased with the nosey little guy getting so close to her.
